2021-3234, In-State Warrant/Resisting a Peace Officer/Possession of Cannabis: On 11/14/21 at 12:00 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were investigating a reckless driving complaint in the area of Light Road and Augusta Road, Oswego Township.  During the investigation, contact was made with Justin C Galloway, a 19-year-old male from the 1600 block of N East Drive, Aurora, who was wanted on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear - driving without being issued a license. The bond for the warrant was set at $3,000.00 x 10%.  Galloway was also charged with resisting a peace officer and cited for possession of cannabis. He was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

2021-3235, Burglary/Criminal Damage to Property: On 11/14/21 at 2:35 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of burglary and criminal damage to property in the 4800 block of Van Dyke Road, Seward Township. The incident is under investigation.   

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
