2021-2275, Driving Without a Valid License: On 08/19/21 at 3:02 p.m., sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on South Bereman Road and Briarcliff Road. The driver of the vehicle, Noe Vargas Jr., a 22-year-old male from the 800 block of Claim Street in Aurora, was cited and released for driving without a valid license and transporting cannabis in an unapproved container.

2021-2277; 2282, Violation of Order of Protection/In State Warrant: On 08/19/21 at 7:47 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection in the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego Township. After investigation, Michael D. Spencer, a 37-year-old male from the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego Township, was taken into custody for Violation of Order of Protection. Spencer also was wanted on a Kane County Failure to Appear warrant for Criminal Damage to Property with a bond of $3,000/10%. Spencer was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
2021-2279, Hit and Run Accident: On 08/19/21 at 9:56 p.m., sheriff’s deputies investigated a hit and run crash at County Line Road and Wheeler Road, Na Au Say Township. The incident is under investigation.
2021-2281, Domestic Battery: On 08/20/21 at 12:04 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Longbeach Road, Oswego Township for a report of a domestic battery. The incident is under investigation.
2021-2292, Residential Burglary; Motor Vehicle Theft: On 8/21/2021 at 6:35 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to 1000 block of Route 30, Oswego Township for a report of residential burglary and motor vehicle theft. The incident is under investigation.
