Kifowit Connecting Seniors With Affordable Activities and Events

AURORA, Ill. – In an effort to help seniors discover fun and affordable activities in the area, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, is hosting a “Senior Staycation Guide to Fun” lunch on Friday, August 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 2055 Wiesbrook Dr. in Oswego.

“We are lucky to have so many fun attractions right here in the Fox Valley for seniors and their whole family to enjoy,” Kifowit said. “By staying local, residents can save on expenses and know the money they do spend is going to help area businesses and restaurants.”

Mike Pfeiffer from the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau will join Kifowit to discuss local activities and attractions. In addition, a free light lunch will be provided. Those who cannot attend may visit www.enjoyaurora.com to find out about upcoming events.
