AURORA, Ill. – To provide resources for homeowners at risk of foreclosure, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Aurora, will host a Mortgage Resource Fair with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, state Senator Linda Holmes, state Representative Linda Chapa-LaVia, Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner, and the Fox Valley Park District on Saturday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Prisco Community Center, located on 150 W. Illinois Ave. in Aurora.
Several expert housing counselors from the Attorney General’s Office and reputable mortgage lenders will be available to provide one-on-one assistance. Attendees should bring their financial documentation, including pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns, and utility bills.
