Knife-Wielding Teen Arrested On Battery, Assault Charges: Police

Aggravated Assault

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies say they responded to a report at 7:26, May 23 of someone with a knife that was possibly threatening his own life and damaging property in Oswego. Deputies found that a 13-year-old male from the 1700 block of Route 30 had battered a family member and assaulted them with a knife, in addition to damaging property. Officials say no one was injured, but because the young male was making statements about taking his own life, he was transported for psychiatric evaluation and treatment. He was referred to the juvenile justice system for charges of aggravated assault, domestic battery and criminal damage to property.

A domestic battery was reported in the 400 block of Merlot Court at 9:55 a.m. May 23, Oswego Police say. Police report the victim is a 26-year-old female from Oswego. The incident is pending further investigation/

Trespassing incident

Kendall County Sheriff officials say Nicole P. Vincenta, 44, of 162 Heathgate Road, Montgomery, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property at 8:30 p.m. May 23 following a same-day trespassing incident.

Marijuana delivery

Kendall County Sheriff officials say Samuel D. Riley, 24, of 2064 Westgate Drive, Montgomery, has been charged with delivery of cannabis and suspended or revoked. The incident took place at 8:42 p.m. May 23 and he was charged at 11:34 p.m.
