Large-Scale Emergency Personnel Training Exercise Planned In Oswego
Drivers should use caution when driving through the area due to a multi-agency training exercise, officials said.
OSWEGO, IL — If you notice an increased presence in Oswego fire, police and emergency personnel Thursday, it's due to a large-scale, multi-agency training exercise, officials said.
Training will take place in the area of Woolley Road between Stone Hill and Douglas roads, the Oswego Fire Protection District said in an alert Thursday morning.
Police, fire and emergency personnel will participate.

"This is a planned exercise designed to help our emergency agencies sharpen their skills and enhance their ability to serve the community safely and effectively," officials said.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution when driving through the area and be alert for emergency vehicles operating near the road.
