Learning About Fairy Gardens
An expert from The Garden Faire will teach all the ins and outs of making your own personalized fairy garden on January 11.

Hilltop Gardeners Garden Club begins its year on Thursday, January 11 with a lesson on fairy gardens from Karen Zidlicky of The Garden Faire in Oswego. Karen promises to inspire those attending with the how-tos of creating a whimsical miniature garden, often recognized as the magical habitat where fairies reside. Some fairy gardens are built into the landscape, while others inhabit an old tree log, a flower pot or a wooden box.
The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. with refreshments at the Little White School Museum, 72 Polk Street in Oswego. Anyone who is interested may attend at no cost. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. at the museum, except for field trips and other events.
