Lightfoot Announces Oswego School Board Re-Election Bid

Brent Lightfoot on Sunday announced his plans to run for re-election to the Oswego School District 308 Board of Education in April 2015.

Lightfoot, who was elected in 2011, is serving his first term on the board.

“Serving on the board can be lot of work, but it’s rewarding to see the positive progress the district is making both in reducing costs and setting stronger goals for student achievement,” Lightfoot said Sunday in a campaign press release. “We have a great team of administrators, teachers and support staff, it would be a great privilege to continue to serve the community.”
