Man Arrested in Oswego for Driving Under the Influence with Child in Car: Police
He also resisted when police tried to arrest him.
OSWEGO, IL — A 22-year-old Plainfield man was allegedly driving under the influence with a child in the car with him.
Jonathan Carlos Rodarte, 22, of the 12900 block of Alpine Way in Plainfield, was stopped the night of Oct. 7 at Anchor Drive and Marlin Drive for multiple traffic violations, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Rodarte allegedly had a suspended driver’s license, was driving under the influence of alcohol and had a child under the age of 18 in the vehicle. When deputies attempted to place him under arrest, he resisted, police said.
Rodarte has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, resisting a peace officer and endangering the health of a minor. He was also cited for going 65 mph in a 45 mph zone, disobeying a no passing zone, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
