Man Assaulted During Bike Theft: Sheriff's Office
September 8-10 Crime reports from Oswego Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

Monday, Sept. 10
Stolen motor vehicle
Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies said they responded to the 0-99 block of Paddock Street around 1 a.m., Sept. 10 for a stolen motor vehicle. Two male juveniles were taken into custody by Aurora police for possession of the stolen vehicle. KCSO said the investigation is ongoing.

Robbery
KCSO said deputies responded to the area of Pendleton and Afton Road for a report of a fight at 4:34 p.m., Sept. 10. KCSO said during the investigation a 28-year-old male victim from the 1200 block of Johnston Drive, Aurora, was located, and advised he'd been beaten up and his bicycle was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, Sept. 9
Suspect search
Oswego police said an officer tried to stop a driver on a dirt bike headed westbound on Route 30 with no lights on at 10:57 p.m., Sept. 9, near Kendall Point Drive. Police said the driver didn't stop and left the roadway, before the dirt bike was found on the side of the road. The search for the driver was unsuccessful. Police said the drier is described only as wearing dark clothes.
Aggravated assault
Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies said they responded to the 0-99 block of Spring Garden Drive at 3:20 a.m., Sept. 9. for a reports of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and domestic violence. No injuries were reported and the incident, which deputies said took place at 12:15 a.m., is currently under investigation.
Accident with injury
KCSO said sheriff's police investigated an accident involving minor injuries that took place at 7:05 a.m., Sept 9 in the 2000 block of Simons Road in Oswego Township. KCSO said Michael Baldwin, 50, of Joliet was driving a 2017 Chevy Silverado while pulling a trailer on westbound Simons Road when the back of the trailer was hit while making a right turn into a private drive by a 2017 Hyundai Sonata being driven by Deborah Fountain, 59, of Plainfield. KCSO said Fountain was taken to Rush Copley for minor injuries and was issued a citation for following too closely.
Saturday, Sept. 8
DUI warrant arrest
KCSO Deputies said they arrested 38-year-old Latoya N. Moss, of the 1900 block of Light Road at 9:46 a.m., Sept. 8 on a failure to appear warrant for DUI, previously issued by the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail. Her bond is set at $7,500 (x 10 percent).
