MAYOR SCHIELKE GRANTS PROCLAMATION TO THE REALTOR(R) ASSOCIATION OF THE FOX VALLEY
Mayor Jeff Schielke proclaimed June 3, 2015, as "REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley Day" in his opening remarks last Wednesday.

Batavia, IL – Mayor Jeff Schielke proclaimed June 3, 2015, as “REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley Day” in his opening remarks last Wednesday. Forty-five REALTORS®, city officials, and municipal staffers attended the June 3rd workshop centered on historical preservation at Batavia City Hall. “Kane County is greatly enriched by the watchful eyes of local REALTORS® and historical preservationists who seek to protect and enhance the inventory of historical structures and sites which dot our portion of northern Illinois,” said Mayor Schielke.
The REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley (RAFV) was approached by REALTOR® Christine Benuzzi, a longtime member of Landmarks Illinois and USGBC, to host the Financial Incentives Workshop in Kane County.
RAFV President, Bobbie Gerbrecht, welcomed the opportunity. “The county is home to several solid historical districts; I wanted to get this information in the hands of REALTORS® doing business in these neighborhoods,” said Gerbrecht.
