Miles For Smiles 5K

Our 5th annual FAMILY FRIENDLY INCLUSIVE 5K RACE promises inspiration and fun times for all!

Thinking of running your first 5k? Or are you a seasoned runner looking for an inspirational, fun race? Or, maybe you are you looking for a great cause to support? Well we have the 5k for you!

Join Celebrate Differences on April 24th, at 8am in Oswego. This professionally timed 5k race will take runners through the heart of downtown Oswego on a USATF-IL certified course.

This event raises money for Celebrate Differences, which works everyday to make certain that children and adults with disabilities through the state of Illinois get the support they need to live full lives in the community. Our Disability Awareness Center services include educational workshops, parent facilitated support groups, social groups, playgroups and clubs for various age groups and disabilities, annual parties and many other programs. This event ensures we will be able to continue our free programming.

This year our race has a new brand with new medal and t-shirt design. Overall female and male winners in the different age categories for the 5k and mile will receive a medal.

Registration is $35 for the 5k and mile race and $10 for the Kid’s Fun Run. Registration increases on race day. Registration is available online at ‪wwwitsracetime.com.
