'Missing And Endangered' Man Last Heard From Wednesday: Oswego Police
Officials said John Martin is known to frequent Silver Springs State Park in Yorkville and Starved Rock State Park in Oglesby.
OSWEGO, IL — An "endangered and missing" man was last heard from Wednesday, according to Oswego police.
Officials, who shared the missing person post on Facebook Thursday, said 54-year-old John Martin was last in contact with his friends at around 9 a.m. Wednesday. The man is known to frequent Silver Springs State Park in Yorkville and Starved Rock State Park in Oglesby.
Police described the Oswego man as 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Martin is believed to be driving a champagne-colored 2001 GMC Yukon SUV with Illinois license plate A412189.
Anyone who might have information on Martin's whereabouts is asked to contact Oswego police at 630-551-7300 or call 911.
