New Pizzeria To Open In Downtown Oswego

OSWEGO, IL ā Downtown Oswego's restaurant offerings are expanding once again.
Billy Bricks Wood Fired Pizza will open at 5 S. Madison St., next to Freddie's Off the Chain, the village announced Tuesday.
The pizzeria finalized its lease last week and is working with its landlord to submit permit plans ahead of a "substantial" renovation of the 1,800-square-foot building.

Billy Bricks operates seven brick-and-mortar stores across the Chicagoland area as well as a mobile fleet of pizza and ice cream trucks. The business also unveiled an ice cream line, Moo Joe's.
Village officials said the renovation timeline is to be determined, but the restaurant anticipates opening "later this year."
