Cheri was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, friend, and cherished member of her community. She met her husband, Patrick, while attending Lisle Senior High School and together they built a loving family and raised their three sons. Cheri earned her associate degree from the College of DuPage and spent many fulfilling years as a teaching assistant at Peaceful Hearts Christian Preschool at Peace Lutheran Church in Plainfield.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and loved what she affectionately called the “three B’s”: Bingo, Bunco, and Bowling. Through the years, she made countless dear friends, while cheering on her boys as a baseball mom while Patrick coached or sharing laughs with friends in their once-a-month bowling league. Cheri was always ready for an adventure, whether it was a girls’ getaway to Long Lake, Wisconsin, a trip to Alaska, or just traveling anywhere with family and friends. She also enjoyed a little friendly excitement at the video poker machine, always hoping for “4 Aces with a kicker!” Above all, Cheri treasured the people in her life and the memories they made together.
