Opening night is finally here! I don't remember being this tired in a very long time but, boy is it worth it!!! Long have I been talking about my awesome experiences with the Limelight Theatre Company here in Oswego, but this production is something special to me. The arts are the strong bond that unites my children and I and being able to design the costume that my child would wear on her first big role on a big stage is a dream come true. Designing and producing intricate costumes for four Gods was quite a task but those who've seem them seem to like my work. Coordinating costumes for a big cast is no piece of cake either but in the end the whole company looks fantastic, if I may say so!
This has been a labor of love for all involved. The actors have worked extremely hard, the directors have given their all to get our actors and musicians to shine and the stage looks fantastic. We have so much young talent that we have two casts of leading characters. One cast performs on Wednesday and Friday and the other on Thursday and Saturday. Each cast gives it its own flavor so... come twice!
All that's left is for you to join us on the journey to Once on this Island, where the rivers run deep...
