Oswego Announces Lineup for Free Movies in the Park

Oswego residents can once again enjoy free movies in the park sponsored by the village’s Cultural Arts Committee.

Like last year, movies will be shown on an outdoor screen in the plaza at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill Road. Movies begin at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.).

This year’s free movies are:

• June 3: “Up,” rated PG, 96 minutes
• June 17: “The Boxtrolls,” rated PG, 100 minutes
• July 15: “The Lego Movie,” rated PG, 101 minutes
• Aug. 5: “Big Hero 6,” rated PG, 102 minutes

In case of inclement weather, movies will be cancelled by 4 p.m. the day of the screening. Cancellations will be announced on the village website.
