Joy is “not… a by-product of material comfort and affluence.” It is uncovered, a matter of perspective. And what better expression of joy than laughter? When not invoked at the expense of others, laughter is a beautiful thing, and God loves it. Done right, laughter is “a spiritual relaxation” and can “become the cause of upraising the lights of God.” (quotes by ‘Abdu’l- Bahá)
