Oswego Blotter: Man Accused of Exposing Himself; Arrests for DUI, Battery

Oswego police are investigating a burglary in the 100 block of Oaklawn Avenue in which more than $15,000 worth of items was stolen, police said.
Mark Cook, 49, of the 8000 block of Van Emmon, Yorkville, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police and charged with battery and criminal damage to property after allegedly breaking the window on a camper at the Hideaway Lakes Campground, 8045 Van Emmon Road, police said. Cook is also accused of grabbing a 20-year-old Oswego woman and pushing her to the ground, according to police.

Aug. 16
David Juris, 21, of the 0-100 block of Mallory Drive, Geneva, is charged with DUI and possession of cannabis after being arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police during a traffic stop at Washington and Monroe in unincorporated Oswego, police said.

Ebelio Ponce, 22, of the 0-100 block of Marlin Drive, Oswego, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police and charged with disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of a man exposing himself to a female in the 100 block of Harbor Drive, police said.
