Oswego Blotter: Man Charged with Hitting Unattended Vehicle; Burglaries, Stolen Restaurant Equipment

Oswego police took a report of stolen equipment at Chick-Fil-A, 2740 Route 34, police said.
Jared Gussman, 20, of the 500 block of Bent Tree Court, was arrested and charged with failure to give information after hitting an unattended vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal use of a cell phone, police said.

Oswego police took a report of a theft from a construction site in the 2600 block of Route 34, police said.

A victim in the 0-100 block of Wilson Place reported a burglary to an attached garage; someone also entered an unlocked vehicle in the garage, police said.
A resident in the 100 block of Locust Street reported a stolen motor vehicle, police said. A vehicle in the 100 block of Locust was also burglarized, according to police.
A juvenile was arrested at Meijer, 2700 Route 34, and charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.
