Oswego Fire Department To Host Community Blood Drive

Head to Oswego Fire Station #1 this Saturday, April 21 to help save lives.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Fire Department is encouraging residents to come to their community blood drive April 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The drive will be held at Oswego Fire Station #1 at 3511 Woolley Rd. Blood that is collected will go to area hospitals to help those in need.

One blood donation can help up to three people. Someone needs donated blood every two seconds in the United States.

Anyone age 17 or older is eligible to donate blood, and photo ID is required. All donors must be in good health and feeling well.

Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are appreciated, the fire department said. To schedule an appointment, either register online or call (800) 7 TO-GIVE.
