Submitted by the Village of Oswego:
The Village of Oswego has initiated the process of updating the current Comprehensive Plan to create a unified plan that can strengthen Oswego’s position in the post-recession economy in the region.
The plan will be used to guide the Village in evaluating future developments opportunities. A major goal of the plan is to develop bold and economically viable concepts for downtown, the riverfront, and other key sites that can serve the community and also attract visitors.

The event is an opportunity for all to come and help shape the vision and plan for the future of Oswego. The open house will have models, drawings and presentations to showcase initial ideas for Downtown sites, the river, and the islands for discussion and feedback. This is a critical first step in the development of the plan; it is an opportunity for the residents of Oswego to imagine and begin to think about a right fit for the community and bring new ideas for a clearly articulated vision.
