Oswego Hotel Guest Fell from Third-Story Window: Police

The man was conscious when police found him.

OSWEGO, IL — A guest at an Oswego hotel was injured after he fell from a third-story window.

Oswego Police Department Public Information Officer Cathy Nevara said that at around 6:17 a.m. Saturday police responded to the AmericInn, located at 1050 Douglas Road, for a report of a man asking for help.

Officers found a man on a sidewalk beneath an open window, Nevara said. He was conscious and it was learned that the man was a guest of the hotel and fell from a third-floor window.

An investigation ascertained that alcohol may have been involved, but no information indicated that his fall was the result of any criminal activity.

The man was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
