The Village of Oswego is looking for dedicated, motivated individuals to join our team dedicated to keeping the community safe, clean and maintaining top quality infrastructure as a Technician in the Public Works Department.

This position is generally responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of streets, water and sewer systems, public buildings and grounds. Also performs snow removal and debris removal from public streets.

A high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 to 3 years of work experience in the construction trade, or related experience, is required. Candidates must also possess a valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment. This position requires work in adverse weather conditions as well as the performance of varied physical and/or strenuous duties.
