Oswego Man Charged With Aggravated Robbery

The 34-year-old man was arrested without incident.

The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged a 34-year-old Oswego man with one count of aggravated robbery.

According to a release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, David Lee Willett walked into a store on the 2500 block of Light Road at around 10:50 a.m. Monday, May 25, and provided a note demanding money. Willett implied that he had a weapon but did not brandish one. Willett then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Willett was taken into custody at his residence on the 1700 block of Light Road without incident, and is currently being held at the Kendall County Corrections Center pending a bond hearing at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 27.
