Oswego Man Solicited Teen to Perform Sex Acts: Police

The sexual contact allegedly occurred at his home. He has since been released on bond.

OSWEGO, IL — After a three-month investigation, a 55-year-old Oswego man has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including criminal sexual abuse and indecent solicitation of a child.

Police began their investigation in May 2016 when a 16-year-old girl reported contact of a sexual nature between her and Daniel Tondu, of the 200 block of Bluegrass Parkway in Oswego, according to Oswego Police Spokeswoman Cathy Nevara. The sexual contact allegedly occurred at his home.

The parents of the girl reported that she and Tondu had exchanged several text messages. Police say it was learned the texts were sexual and that Tondu had allegedly solicited the victim to perform sexual acts.
