Oswego Police 4th Of July Enforcement Yields 97 Tickets

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police Department issued a total of 97 citations during its three-week-long enforcement campaign encompassing the Fourth of July holiday, officials revealed Friday.

Between June 26 and July 6, Oswego police joined the Illinois Department of Transportation and more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to focus on removing impaired and unbuckled drivers from roads.
