Oswego Police Give Out 27 Citations During Seat Belt Crackdown

Police also gave out citations for illegal use of electronics and no insurance.

Oswego, IL — Some drivers within the Oswego village limits got a pricey reminder to buckle up.

According to a news release from the Oswego Police Department, 27 seat belt citations were given during the department’s “Click It or Ticket” crackdown. Nine of those citations were given during the nighttime hours.

Police also issued seven citations for illegal use of electronic communications and two citations for no insurance.
