Oswego Police HQ Dedication, Open House, Tours
Oswego police are inviting the public to see the new headquarters in a dedication, an open house and tours Friday.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police Department is inviting the public to the dedication of their new headquarters at 3 p.m. Friday. They'll have a ceremony then open the building to the public for an open house and tours.
“The design and development of this cutting-edge law enforcement facility was inspired by a desire to provide an inviting and transparent building for our community to use, while enhancing safety and operational efficiency for the department members serving our public,” Oswego Police Chief Jeff Burgner said, according to a release from the department.
“We’re proud to be able to invite the public in and showcase how the new facility will benefit our community," Burgner said.

The headquarters has a community room for educational programs and community groups as well as a Mutual Ground domestic violence shelter offering resources for victims.
