Oswego Police Reveal Results From St. Patrick's Day Enforcement
The enforcement effort resulted in tickets for speeding, distracted driving and improper seat belt use, officials said.
OSWEGO, IL ā The Oswego Police Department shared Monday the results of its St. Patrick's Day enforcement campaign, revealing officers wrote 72 citations.
From March 13-23, Oswego police joined Illinois State Police, the Illinois Department of Transportation and a plethora of local agencies to stop drivers impaired by alcohol, cannabis or other drugs.
Officers wrote tickets for the following violations:

The enforcement effort was paid for by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
