Oswego Police Warn Residents of Residential Burglaries
Police are encouraging residents to call police if they see anything suspicious.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police Department is alerting the public about two residential burglaries that took place April 13.
According to police, the offenders forced entry into the residences from the rear of the homes and took property inside.

The locations of the burglaries took place in the 400 block of Arboretum Way between 6:30 and 8:10 p.m. and the 200 block of Morgan Crossing Drive between 8 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. The rear door was kicked in on Arboretum Way and a rear window was pried open for the home on Morgan Crossing Drive.
Police are reminding all citizens to call 911 immediately any time they witness anything that seems suspicious or out of character, including people or vehicles. Residents are encouraged to talk with neighbors and pass this information on to each other.

- Be observant of persons and activity in your neighborhood.
- Report suspicious activity immediately by calling 911 or 630-551-7300.
- Keep the perimeter of your property well lit.
- Keep doors and windows secured.
- Immediately repair any broken windows, doors or locks.
- If you are a victim do not touch anything, call police immediately.
- If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information.
