Oswego PrairieFest Dates, Concert Lineup Announced
The beloved PrairieFest parade, a carnival, a Nascar-style race and a high-flying bike show are all planned across four days in June.
OSWEGO, IL — As the Chicagoland area holes up to escape the frigid temperatures, the Oswegoland Park District is shining a beacon of light for residents by announcing the dates and concert lineup for this summer's PrairieFest.
The annual event will return June 18-21, Father's Day weekend. The PrairieFest parade, carnival, touch-a-truck event, cotton candy eating contest and PrairieFest 5K race are some of the beloved events making their return.
In addition to live music, PrairieFest's entertainment includes a Division BMX show, featuring high-flying bike stunts, and Prime Time Racing, a Nascar-style race. The popular cotton candy-eating contest and touch-a-truck events are planned, too.
