Oswego Students Meet Daughter of Martin Luther King
Three Oswego East students got to meet her.

YWCA Aurora recently invited three Oswego East High School students to its Leaders of Change Luncheon.
The Leaders of Change Luncheon, held Monday, April 18, at Pipers Banquets, celebrated inspirational acts of leadership an activism. Over 400 people attended the event.

The keynote speaker for the luncheon was Dr. Bernice A. King, youngest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Ms. King electrified the audience with her speech about empowering women and eliminating racism.
