Oswego Trader Joe's Location Revealed

The "mystery grocery store" is no longer a mystery.

OSWEGO, IL — The location where Trader Joe's will open in Oswego has been revealed.

The Trader Joe's website also lists the Oswego location as "coming soon" to 1930 Route 34. In an email confirming the store opening, a representative said no timeline has been confirmed.

Village President Ryan Kauffman announced in November that Trader Joe's would open in the village, marking the grocer's first outpost in Kendall County.

More than a year ago, the Village Board approved a grocery store development, with no users named in the application, at the corner of Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive. Asked when the coming of Trader Joe's was announced if it was the "mystery store" at 1930 Route 34, multiple Village of Oswego representatives told Patch a location was not confirmed.
