Oswego woman sees with her heart

Eyes of Love

This is Ginny. She is a senior dog that has been rescued and fostered for the past few years waiting to be adopted by her forever home. She is a cute little 9 pound Chihuahua from Houston, Texas but Ginny has one big problem....she is blind. Ginny had her eyes surgically removed due to a severe eye infection that was not treatable. It seemed nobody wanted to adopt Ginny until the lady from Oswego, Il that "Sees with her Heart" saw the post on facebook about Ginny. Many people were involved in transporting Ginny from Houston to Oswego including Nancy Byron, Tom Quigley, Vanessa Johnson, Donna Wiles and Oswego resident Paul Roberts. The lady that has Eyes of Love and sees with her heart is Julie Hoover from Oswego. Some of you may know Julie by her cat grooming abilities at Pawsitively Loves Cats, Walk This Way Pet Sitting or from the local Bentleys Pet Store. Julie has been an animal lover her whole life. She has rescued many cats and dogs but this is her first blind dog. Wednesday, February 28th Julie took Ginny on her Freedom Ride from Fostered Home to Forever Home. We should all have Eyes of Love and See with our Heart like Julie! What an amazing woman!
