Oswego, Yorkville Team Up To Host Back-To-School Bash At Venue 1012

OSWEGO, IL — The Village of Oswego and United City of Yorkville are joining forces to host a back-to-school bash Thursday afternoon ahead of the school year starting in just a few weeks.

At the Oswego entertainment venue, located at 1012 Station Drive, visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of free activities, including a live DJ, game stations and raffle prizes. Food will be for sale from Chick-fil-A, and free treats and a water station will also be available.

The bash will run from 2-5 p.m. before the Oswego Pops Orchestra comes on with a free concert from 7:30-9 p.m. The orchestra is slated to play a selection of songs from Disney movies, and actors in costume will "sing along to fully immerse you in the Disney experience," according to village officials.
