Oswego's Final Leaf Collection Starts Nov. 24

The Village of Oswego will start making one final pass for leaf collection beginning Monday, Nov. 24.

While the village will make an attempt to complete collection of all streets next week, staff may not be able to do so due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Any leaves not collected next week will be picked up the week of Dec. 1. The village anticipates completing the 2014 program by Dec. 5. After that date, plows will be placed on the truck in anticipation of winter.

Next week is also the deadline for placing yard waste bags at the curb for Groot to pickup, the village said. For more information on the yard waste program, visit www.oswegoil.org .
