Oswego's Got Talent To Start Sept. 18 For First Round Of Judging

Two winners have a chance at the top prize — $250 and a slot to perform at next spring's Wine on the Fox event, taking place May 6-7.

OSWEGO, IL — The new Venue 1012 is soon to be the host site of the upcoming Oswego's Got Talent competition. The first of two rounds is taking place Sept. 18, officials said Thursday.

To apply for a spot, performers wanting to show off their talents can complete an online application and submit a video of their skill by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 12. The first round will take place a week later, and the second will happen at the amphitheater, 1012 Station Drive, Oct. 17.

Performers — open to non-Oswego residents as well — can compete in categories, including music and dance, in both youth and adult divisions. Judges will select up to three competitors in each category and division to perform in the first round.
