Oswego's LeClercq Won't Seek Re-Election

Oswego Village President Brian LeClercq has announced he will not seek a third term, the Beacon News reported.

LeClercq, whose term expires next spring, has been village president since 2007.

“It has been an honor to serve my community,” LeClercq told the paper. “But I am a firm believer in term limits.”

LeClercq did express an interest in running for Oswego Township supervisor in 2017, according to the Beacon.
