Person Wanted For Property Crime: Oswego Police

Police are asking for the community's help identifying a person seen in the downtown area around midnight Aug. 20.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police are searching for a person of interest wanted in connection with a property crime.

The person was seen in the downtown area, near Route 34 and Jackson Street, around midnight Aug. 20, officials said.

Police shared a photo of the person on Facebook Wednesday morning and asked anyone with information to contact the department at 630-551-7382. Officials did not specify what the crime was beyond it being a "property crime."
