When you tell the scammer you don't have a security system, the call is disconnected.

OSWEGO, IL — If you get a phone call asking about your home security system it may be someone trying to find out if you’re a target for a burglary.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of phone calls concerning home security systems. Residents have reported receiving a call where they’re told there’s a problem with their security system. When the caller is told they don’t have one, the call is disconnected.
