Planet Fitness Opens New Club In Aurora

Planet Fitness is opening a new club on March 18 at 4306 E. New York St. in Aurora.

On hand to help celebrate the grand opening of the new club will be Addison, IL native, Toma Dobrosavljevic, winner of season 16 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser. Toma is available to talk about fitness tips, how he has kept the weight off and his experience on the show following an 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.

To help kick off the grand opening, Planet Fitness is offering a $1 down, one-day only special on March 18.

For the rest of the month, members can join the new club for $29 down and then $10 a month with no commitment through March 31.

The new Aurora club is approximately 16,500 sq. ft. and will offer state of the art cardio machines and strength equipment, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, numerous flat screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning beds, and Total Body Enhancement booths. The club will be open and staffed 24 hours, seven days a week.

Planet Fitness offers affordable memberships and a unique “Judgement Free Zone” unlike other gyms, the company says, where members experience a hassle-free, non-intimidating environment.

Membership includes a variety of other benefits, including unlimited small group fitness instruction by a certified trainer. In addition, as a member appreciation gesture, Planet Fitness provides free pizza on the first Monday of every month, and free bagels on the second Tuesday of every month, while supplies last.

The PF Black Card membership which is $19.99 a month, includes additional amenities such as the ability to bring a guest every day at no additional charge, access to all 900+ clubs in the Planet Fitness chain, as well as use of massage chairs, HydroMassage beds, tanning and Total Body enhancement booths, and 50-percent off select cooler drinks.
