Plenty of Road Construction to Hit Oswego Streets This Week

The Village is advising residents to seek alternative routes when available.

OSWEGO, IL — More traffic construction is coming to the streets of Oswego this week.

On Nov. 1, the traffic signal control cabinet at the IL-71/US-34/Wolf's Crossing intersection will be removed and replaced, according to the village. This will require that the intersection will become a four-way stop with either stop signs or flashing red lights. The work will begin at 9 a.m and will take most, if not all, of the day.

On Nov. 2, paving will start milling on Douglas Road between US 34 and Wolf’s Crossing.
