Assault Reported In Oswego: Police
A female victim said she was walking on Jackson Street when she was assaulted Thursday afternoon.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police say they are still investigating a reported assault that occurred Thursday afternoon in Oswego. Police said officers responded at around 3:30 p.m. after a female victim reported she was assaulted while walking in the 0-100 block of West Jackson Street.
Police said officers are working with the person who reported the assault "investigating the details of the incident," adding, "At this time, police do not believe the public to be in danger."
No other information was available Thursday night, police said.
