Portillo's Heart-Shaped Cakes Are Back For Valentine's Day
A portion of proceeds from heart-shaped cake sales will benefit the American Red Cross.

This year, you can surprise your sweetheart with one of Portillo's famous chocolate cakes for Valentine's Day and do some good while you're at it. The Chicago-area favorite for hot dogs, Italian beef, salads and more is bringing back heart-shaped cakes, with a portion of proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross.
Heart-shaped chocolate cakes will be available for pickup at any area Portillo's location from Feb. 9 to 18, or you can have them delivered.
Pre-orders for pickup or delivery can be made online.

The heart-shaped sweet treats sell for $19.49 plus tax. If you're ordering a cake for that special someone, follow these instructions from Portillo's:
If you are ordering a heart shaped cake to be delivered to someone special, you must enter the name of the person the cake is being delivered to in the “Other Instructions” field when entering a new address. Delivery times are estimates only, as we expect a large number of orders. If picking up your cake inside the restaurant, your Picture ID and credit card are required at pickup.
