Pot, Warrants, Fraud, Domestic Battery: Oswego Blotter
Incidents occurred between Jan. 29 and Feb. 5.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Jan. 29
Shaquiea Thomas, 24, of the 2000 block of Muirfield in Yorkville, was picked up on a failure to appear warrant for retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 2300 block of Route 34.
Carlos Soto-Ruiz, 46, of the 1100 block of Liberty in Aurora, was charged with possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and possession of drug equipment. The arrest occurred at Route 30 and Route 34.
Jan. 30
Eduardo R. Torres, 19, of the 200 block of Monroe St. in Oswego, was charged with possession of drug equipment and possession of alcohol by a minor. The arrest occurred at Hudson Park.
Martin Huerta, 34, of the 400 block of Grapevine Trail in Oswego, was picked up on a failure to appear warrant for contempt of court out of DuPage County, as well as citations for driving while license restricted, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. The arrest occurred at Rt. 34 and Pearces Ford.
Jan. 31
Josiah E. Castillo, 20, of the 800 block of Mystic Ct. in Oswego, was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
A 40-year-old Oswego woman reported several incidents of a protection order violation.
Feb. 1
Police are investigating a credit card fraud case. More than $2,000 was fraudulently charged to the card.
Police are investigating a retail theft in the 2300 block of Route 34. The culprit took $88.84 worth of merchandise.
Feb. 2
A woman reported that her daughter’s phone was stolen at Oswego East High School.
Feb. 3
Robert K. Heffner, 43, of the 6600 block of Sundown Ln. in Yorkville, was picked up on a warrant. The arrest occurred at Polk and Jackson Street.
Elizabeth Z. Miranda, 22, of the 0-100 block of Pueblo in Montgomery, turned herself in on a failure to appear warrant.
William G. Lumpkin III, 50, of the 100 block of Tealwood Rd. in Montgomery, was charged with being a sex offender in a school zone. The arrest occurred at 4209 Rt. 71.
Feb. 4
Police took a report of battery at 440 Boulder Hill Pass.
Police took a report of a vehicle damaged while in the driveway. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Springbrook Trail.
Feb. 5
Anna Gabris, 22, of the 100 block of Chesterfield Dr., was charged with four counts of domestic battery. The arrest occurred at Gabris’ home.
Derrick J. Lechelt, 27, of the 100 block of Chesterfield Dr., was charged with two counts of domestic battery. The arrest occurred at Lechelt’s home.
