Prohibition-Era Program Planned At Little White School Museum

OSWEGO, IL — The Little White School House Museum is going to serve as a time travel machine March 9 with the presentation of a program about the 1920s.
Public speaker Martina Mathisen will portray a flapper named Flora to discuss how fashion, crime and prohibition combined with the creativity of the decade.
Locals of all ages are invited to "come learn facts from fiction" while also learning how the happenings relate to the film 2002 Oscar-winning film "Chicago."

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to noon in the Roger Matile Room at the museum, 72 Polk St. Registration is open online.
