Registration Open For Oswego Police 5th-Annual Car Show
Similar to prior events, the car and truck show will include a car corral — where classic cars will be sold — and an awards ceremony.
OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police's fifth-annual car and truck show is scheduled to take place Sept. 10.
The event, hosted by the Oswego Police Department Explorer Post 3525, is scheduled to last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Classic Cinemas Kendall 11, 95 Fifth St.
Similar to previous years, there will also be a car corral on site, where locals can sell classic cars. The price to take part in the corral is $15.

Some car owners could also win awards at the show. Trophies, which will be awarded at noon, will include Top 10, Best GM, Best Jeep/Off-Road Car, Best Mopar, Best Import and Best Ford.
With less than a month left to go, registration remains open for cool cars to enter the show. Registration can be completed online or by printing and filling out a form — which can be found on the department's Facebook page. Pre-registration costs $5.
