Repairs On Broken Route 34 Water Main Delayed: Oswego Officials

OSWEGO, IL — A water main at Route 34 and Chicago Road, near the entrance to Walgreens, is broken, and repairs are delayed until Tuesday, Oswego officials warned drivers Monday afternoon.

The village's Public Works Department is monitoring the problem, which can't be resovled Monday "due to the nature of the break," according to a Village of Oswego Facebook post.

Drivers should expect lane closures in the area as work is completed Tuesday, officials said.
