Respect for Law Banquet Award Winners

Several law enforcement agency employees were recognized for their performance, dedication and passion.

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police recently held its 31st Annual Respect for Law Banquet at Whitetail Ridge in Yorkville. The event was co-sponsored by the Oswegoland Optimist Club. The night was filled with various law enforcement agencies recognized for their efforts throughout Kendall County in 2015.

This year marked the inaugural recognition of a Civilian of the Year, Telecommunicator of the Year and Investigator of the Year. The following recipients were awarded the following awards:

  • Civilian of the Year – Community Service Officer William Shink – Oswego Police Department
  • Telecommunicator of the Year – Ashley Conrad - KenCom Public Safety Dispatch
  • Investigator of the Year – Detective Bryon Maggos – Kendall County Sheriff Office
  • Officer of the Year – Officer Ben Hackl – Oswego Police Department

As in years past, Life Saving and Valor Awards were presented. The following recipients were awarded the following awards:
